TrueClot™ sensing

TrueClot sensing eliminates guesswork, enabling precise clot removal while avoiding blood aspiration and vessel wall latching.

The tip features sensing technology that differentiates between blood, clot and vessel walls indicated by the multicolor LED signals on the handle.

Directional dilator shaped tip

The integrated tip enables seamless catheter advancement and aspiration without constant dilator swaps. The directionality minimizes wall latching and allows for precise clot targeting.

Streamlined blood return

AVENTUS’s blood return system efficiently separates clots and filters blood for immediate return, reducing blood loss, procedure time and the need for additional operators.

Integrated navigation catheter

The proprietary tip features a 4F-compatible lumen, allowing continuous use of a 4F navigation catheter with independent movement for precise vessel selection and guidewire management, maintaining anatomical position without requiring multiple wire exchanges.

Efficient. Precise.

The AVENTUS Thrombectomy System is uniquely designed to reduce procedure time, empty aspirations and the need for contrast.

Navigation:

After venous access, the AVENTUS catheter is advanced over a 0.035″ guidewire into the vasculature. The guide catheter facilitates tracking through tortuous anatomy obviating the need for dilator exchanges.

Clot Detection:

The AVENTUS Thrombectomy System features proprietary tissue sensing technology that differentiates between blood, clot and vessel wall, indicated by multicolor LED signals on the handle: green for blood, orange for clot and blue for aspiration on the vessel wall. This feature is uniquely designed to eliminate guesswork in clot targeting and reduces empty aspirations.

Aspiration:

The operator can activate the aspiration system once the clot is detected (indicated by the orange light). The vortex effect, generated by the proprietary fluid dynamic flow pattern, dynamically manipulates the clot for efficient removal.

Blood and Clot Collection:

Aspirated blood and clot enters the Clot Chamber for filtration without disconnection of system components.

Blood Return:

The filtered blood can be returned to the patient via a syringe. After each aspiration, clot is clearly visible in the Clot Chamber. The system is designed to minimize blood loss, improve ease of use and reduce procedure time.
